21:57 CET - It is half time in the opening quarter-final of the Club World Cup, with Fluminense leading Al Hilal 1-0. It has been a very even and cagey contest so far, but the Brazilians are in a good position as it stands.
21:44 CET - With five minutes to go until half time, Fluminense have taken the lead against Al Hilal! Martinelli has scored with a stunning finish with his left foot into the top corner, and the goal couldn't have come at a better time!
21:22 CET - 20 minutes in, there is not too much worth talking about. It has been a cagey start from both teams.

17:30 CET - After a two-day break, the Club World Cup returns with the first quarter-finals of the tournament. Up first at 21:00 CET is a meeting between two surprise packages: Al Hilal and Fluminense.
The Saudi side have impressed under new manager Simone Inzaghi, dumping out Premier League heavyweights Manchester City in a last-16 thriller. Fluminense have also shone at this tournament, beating Inter Milan in the last round to secure their spot at this stage.
That is followed at 03:00 CET by Chelsea vs Palmeiras. Enzo Maresca's blue are the heavy favourites, and it would be a big surprise to see them lose here. However, all the Brazilian sides have impressed at the Club World Cup, and it would be foolish to write Palmeiras off.

04:55 CET - That's full time. After their 2-1 victory over Monterrey, Dortmund now advances to the Club World Cup quarterfinals, where they will face off against Real Madrid!
Serhou Guirassy's two goals in the first half proved to be all they needed to hold off a feisty Monterrey team that just wouldn't go away. Unfortunately for the latter, their time at the Club World Cup comes to an end.

Shortly after coming back onto the pitch for the second half, Monterrey closes the gap to make it 2-1 thanks to a header from German Berterame!

For Inter, this is a fitting ending to what has been a nightmare few months for the club, with them losing the Serie A title race, the Champions League final, manager Sionze Inzaghi and now this.
